It finally happened! A New Website

It was around 2010 when maxx stepped up and said: Hey, let me go ahead and create a new, proper website for ZSR. From scratch. In Ruby. And it was good. For the time, the website was amazing, and it took years for other sites to move the needle further. At some point, speedrun.com came and changed the game...and ZSR stayed.

When dragonbane and me took over, ZSR changed, and it became the restreaming hub it is today. Since then, we have restreamed thousands of restreams, gained over 50k followers on Twitch, hosted charity marathons to be able to gather over 40k dollars to charity...and zeldaspeedruns.com stayed the same...for over 10 years.

That changes today, and we could not be more proud. So...

Hello there friends! We're happy to finally announce the next 3D Remake Zelda Relay Race on June 4th, of course on ZSR!

This time, the 3D and HD remakes are getting all the love, so get ready for 5 spicy runs in shiny HD. As always, we are shooting for a race of 4 teams with open signups. The 4 teams will be created based on the available players in order to create a good balance. In the race, the 4 teams will play through the games in order, changing games the second the previous teammate has finished their run according to official category rules.

The games played will be:

• Ocarina of Time 3D (MST)
• Majora's Mask 3D (Any%)
• The Wind Waker HD (Any%)
• Twilight Princess HD (Any%)
• Skyward Sword HD (Any%)

After a very demanding, but also incredibly fulfulling weekend, ZSRMarathon 2021 has come to a close. Over 76 hours (!) of Zelda content, with one amazing outcome. Thanks to our community, we managed to gather $11,010 for the PancOne Network - making this the MOST SUCCESSFUL ZSR EVENT of all time. The entire team couldn't be prouder or happier than we are right now.

What you all accomplished exceeded all our expectations, and we owe you, every single one of you, be it a viewer, commentator, tracker, or especially a runner at the event. Marathons, especially online out of all things, are hard, high risk, and looking back, it's almost scary how smooth everything went.
