Pre-route Info

The purpose of this page is to remind runners where to go and what to do for the run. It does not go into specific detail on things such as movement or trick inputs. It is typically best to watch a high level run of the game from ⁠the leaderboards while following along with this route.

Language choice for this game is negligible due to how fast the text is.

The digital version has faster loading times than the cartridge version. There does not appear to be any difference between digital on a microSD card vs. digital on the Switch's internal storage. A general loading comparison can be seen ⁠here.

Runs can be done in either Normal Mode or Hero Mode, however it should be noted that Hero Mode is faster than Normal Mode due to increased skyward strike power and double damage making deathwarps faster.

Sections where it can be used are marked with AMIIBO and the corresponding sections without amiibo as NO AMIIBO.
