Pre-route Info

The purpose of this page is to remind runners where to go and what to do for the run. It does not go into specific detail on things such as movement or trick inputs. It is typically best to watch a high level run of the game from ⁠the leaderboards while following along with this route.

Language choice for this game is negligible due to how fast the text is.

The digital version has faster loading times than the cartridge version. There does not appear to be any difference between digital on a microSD card vs. digital on the Switch's internal storage. A general loading comparison can be seen ⁠here.

Runs can be done in either Normal Mode or Hero Mode, however it should be noted that Hero Mode is faster than Normal Mode due to increased skyward strike power and double damage making deathwarps faster.

• Hit switch on upper level in main room
• Roll through crawlspace on lower level and hit switch to raise water
• Return to main room and cross log to vines
• Spin sword to defeat double eye guardians
• Small Key
• Get seed drop in right bush after opening locked door
• Stalfos fight
• Beetle
• Activate switch over western door with beetle
• Use beetle to knock down crate
• Kill skulltula and spin sword to defeat triple eye guardians
• Small Key
• Slingshot snipe to raise water level
• Enter eastern door in main circular room
• Kill Staldra and continue
• Spider skip (or use the beetle)
