Moon Pearl

The moon pearl is a piece of equipment that allows Link to exist in the Dark World in his human form.

Location

The moon pearl is found in the big chest in Tower of Hera.

Description

Without the moon pearl, Link is transformed into a pink bunny when he's in the Dark World. The bunny has very limited capabilities compared to human Link:

• He cannot use his sword.
• He cannot use any Y-items except bottles, mirror, and the Book of Mudora.
• He cannot use the Pegasus boots.
• He cannot lift or throw objects.
• He cannot interact with rupee pulls or pull levers.
• He cannot open chests.
• He cannot swim in deep water.

The moon pearl allows Link to be in his normal human form while in the Dark World.

There are several glitches that allow Link to gain his human form or some of his human form abilities in the Dark World without the moon pearl. These can be found on the bunny glitches page.

The moon pearl is a requirement for doing the waterfall of wishing water walk.
